Penetration testing for US teams that need proof, not paperwork.
We attack your web apps, APIs, cloud accounts, networks and Active Directory by hand, then give your engineers evidence and fixes that also hold up for SOC 2, PCI DSS and customer security reviews.

Four testing practices, twenty services
We don't run a SOC or resell software. Every engagement we take on is a test, from one mobile app to a multi-week red team exercise.
Application Testing
Web apps, APIs, mobile and desktop clients, source code and AI features, tested role by role for the flaws automated tools overlook.
Infrastructure & Cloud
Perimeter, internal networks, Active Directory, cloud accounts, Kubernetes, Wi-Fi and connected devices.
Adversary Simulation
Objective-led red teaming, people-focused social engineering and collaborative purple team exercises.
Testing Programs
Combined VAPT, year-round continuous testing, audit-driven pentests and verification of your fixes.
Five steps, each with a written output
You always know who is doing what, by when, and what you will hold at the end of each step.
- Scope
We agree targets, roles and environments and turn them into a tester-day estimate and a USD price.
- Authorize
An authorized signer approves dates, source addresses, exclusions and emergency contacts in writing.
- Test
Manual testing inside the agreed windows, with critical issues sent to you the day we confirm them.
- Report
Rated findings, proof and fixes, plus a summary for leadership, reviewed with your team on a call.
- Retest
We verify your fixes at no charge and issue a letter for auditors, customers or insurers.
Written so engineers can fix it and auditors can file it
Each finding shows where the flaw is, the request that proved it, the realiztic impact and the change that closes it. We score with CVSS 4.0, then adjust order of work for the data involved, such as card numbers or patient records.
- Step-by-step reproduction with screenshots
- Fix advice for the languages and platforms you use
- CWE and OWASP references on each issue
- Scope, dates and method stated for audit files

Published 2026 US guides put most penetration tests between $10,000 and $30,000. Our calculator converts your scope into tester-days at $1,500 to $2,500 a day, so you can see where your project is likely to land.
Typical published US ranges, 2026
Tests scoped for the rule you have to answer
We name the requirement each test supports and keep to what our facts allow. We aren't a QSA, ASV or C3PAO, and we tell you so at the start.
PCI DSS v4.0.1
Under Requirement 11.4 you need yearly tests from inside and outside the network, a fresh test after significant change, and segmentation checks. Read the guide
FTC Safeguards Rule
Covered non-bank financial institutions without continuous monitoring need an annual pentest and vulnerability assessments every six months.
NYDFS Part 500
Section 500.5 expects annual penetration testing by a qualified, independent internal or external party.
SOC 2
The criteria don't name a pentest, yet auditors and enterprise buyers commonly expect one. Our report and retest letter give them the record.
HIPAA
Risk analysis applies today. HHS has proposed annual penetration testing, but that rule is still a proposal, not a final requirement.
CMMC
Level 2 maps to NIST SP 800-171, with C3PAO certification phasing into applicable contracts from November 10, 2026. Testing helps prove controls work.
A testing team, not a services catalog
Broad security vendors often treat a pentest as an add-on. We put every hour into the work that shows how a breach would actually happen.
Every account type
Customers, staff, partners and admins each get their own pass, with checks on what crosses between them.
Attack paths
We combine small weaknesses into the route an intruder would take and report the route.
Current technology
Entra ID, serverless, GraphQL, containers and AI assistants are routine targets for us.
Confirmed only
Nothing goes in the report until a tester has reproduced it. No pages of unverified scanner output.
Our findings describe your weak points. They stay locked down.
The same safeguards apply to a two-day test and a six-week red team, and they start before you share any detail.
How engagement data is protected
- Signed written authorization comes before the first test request
- We will sign a mutual NDA ahead of any scoping detail being shared
- Evidence is encrypted and restricted to the testers on your project
- Reports travel through a controlled channel, not as loose email attachments
- Test accounts and credentials are returned or disabled at close-out
- Working files are deleted on the retention schedule you approve
Price fixed up front
Scope and cost are agreed in a written proposal in US dollars before testing.
Retest included
When you fix what we reported, we check the fixes without a new invoice.
Live critical alerts
Anything severe goes straight to your nominated contact once verified.
Your time zone
India is 9.5 hours ahead of US Eastern in daylight time; we agree call and test windows with you at scoping.
Different industries, different crown jewels
A SaaS tenant boundary, a loan file, a patient chart and a production line each change where the testing hours go.
SaaS & technology
Tenant isolation and the SOC 2 report your buyers ask for.
Financial services & fintech
Money movement, FTC Safeguards and NYDFS testing duties.
Healthcare
Patient data, HIPAA risk analysis and clinical integrations.
Retail & e-commerce
Checkout abuse, payment-page scripts and PCI DSS scope.
Defense & government contractors
CUI environments and evidence for NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC.
Manufacturing & critical infrastructure
Paths from office IT to plant systems and vendor access.

Do you work with US companies from India?
Yes. PentestProviders USA is run by BugFoe Private Limited, incorporated in Ahmedabad, India, in 2021, and every engagement is delivered remotely. India is 9.5 hours ahead of US Eastern during US daylight time and 10.5 hours in winter, so calls and testing windows are agreed around your time zone when we scope the work.
How much should a US company budget for a pentest?
Pricing guides published for the 2026 US market place most engagements between $10,000 and $30,000. A web application test commonly runs $5,000–$30,000 and a red team $30,000–$150,000 or more. Our cost calculator uses $1,500–$2,500 per tester-day to give a range before you ask for a fixed price.
Can your report support PCI DSS, SOC 2 or the FTC Safeguards Rule?
Yes, when the test is scoped for it. We record scope, dates, methodology and rated findings, then retest fixes free of charge. We are not a PCI QSA or ASV and don't claim CMMC C3PAO status; if your assessor needs one of those, tell us at scoping and we'll say plainly what we can cover.
Is this an automated scan with a report template?
No. Tools help map the attack surface, but the effort goes into manual checks: role-to-role access, business logic and chained weaknesses. A tester confirms every finding before it reaches the report.
What do you need from us before testing starts?
A signed scope and written authorization from someone who controls each target, since the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act turns unpermitted access into a legal problem. Then test accounts, VPN or device access, and a named contact who can pause testing if needed.
How quickly will we hear back?
Every inquiry gets a consultant's answer inside one business day, often a short list of scoping questions. A fixed-price proposal in US dollars follows once the scope is clear. See how an engagement runs for each stage.
Ready to find your risks before attackers do?
Tell us what you need tested or monitored. A senior consultant replies within one business day with a scoped, fixed-price proposal.
